Tumlin Family Dentistry is a comprehensive dental practice proudly serving the Cartersville, Georgia community. Founded in 1983 by Dr. Terry Tumlin, the practice is now led by his son, Dr. Samuel Tumlin, who joined the team in 2018.
For over 40 years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for multiple generations of families, and we’re excited to welcome new patients into our dental family. We deeply value the trust our community places in us and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality care for years to come!
Samuel Tumlin, D.M.D.
Dr. Samuel Tumlin is a proud graduate of Augusta University’s College of Dental Medicine, earning his degree in 2018. He places a strong emphasis on preventative care and oral rehabilitation. Dr. Tumlin has taken over his family practice, established by his father, and is committed to a long fulfilling career centered around caring for his patients.
A native of Cartersville, Georgia, Dr. Tumlin can be found cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He, his wife Emily, and their dog Molly enjoy spending time outdoors together. Traveling is also a shared passion for their family.

Dental Assistant
Dawn has been an integral part of our practice since 2002, bringing her dedication, hard work, and compassionate care to every patient she meets. Working closely with Dr. Tumlin, she ensures that each patient receives the best care possible. With her extensive knowledge and kind approach, Dawn helps guide patients through their appointments with confidence.
Outside the office, Dawn is a true creative spirit. Whether she's designing unique outfits, painting, or exploring various forms of art, she loves expressing herself. You might also spot her at a Rick Springfield concert or attending a Supernatural Convention—her passion for both music and pop culture knows no bounds!
