Periodontal Maintenance
Regular dental cleanings are generally recommended every six months to help prevent plaque buildup and reduce the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. These visits play a vital role in maintaining long-term oral health.
For patients with more advanced gum concerns, we also offer scaling and root planning—a deep cleaning procedure designed to remove calculus (mineralized plaque) from below the gum line. More frequent maintenance cleanings may be recommended following this treatment; to manage the periodontal health of the patient.
